Drafter
/ Intern - Entry Level Position
Description: Make
modification to erection and shop drawings using AutoCAD. Running
blueprints, copies and minor office duties. Additional training for
detailing structural steel and/or PEMB drawings.
Qualifications: Requires
minimum of one year of AutoCAD courses at college/Vocational School for
AutoCAD or 2 years at high school. Knowledge
of structural steel recommended
but not required.
Structural Steel Erector
Description:
Sets metal beams, column, joists, etc., and installs metal roof
and wall panels. Uses hand and
power tools such as screw guns, drills/drivers, nibblers, pop rivet gun,
hand seamer, snips, hammer drill, spud wrenches and welding equipment.
Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
Qualifications:
One year minimum experience, good math skills, able to determine
and measure angles. May be
required to operate company vehicles (with valid license) and material
handling equipment. Must have
personal tools and basic equipment required.
Welders/Fabricators Manufacturing
Description:
Welds and fabricates steel and aluminum components for
pre-engineered metal buildings. Must
be able to read prints, measure accurately, MIG weld and grind.
Will fabricate steel beams, trusses, columns, rails, joists, stairs
and aluminum vents, skylights and aluminum supports.
Qualifications:
Must be experienced with MIG welding of either STEEL or ALUMINUM
(using MIG wire spool gun).
